Thai Isaan is a beautiful Thai haven. If you are looking for that intimate restaurant to take your loved one for a romantic meal for two, this is a perfect option. I was taken to Thai Isaan on a date, and was amazed by the beautiful decor, and the climbing Hoya plant that spiralled all around the room. Creates a sense of exoticness about the place. The food is sensational, service was kind, and generous.

This place is very close to my house in Birkenhead. It is my go to place when I am in the mood of having Thai food. It is one of the best places for Thai food in Auckland. I usually order Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts and I am never disappointed. Food is delicious and portion size is just about right. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is good.

This was my second group visit here in 4 months and on both occasions the food was fantastic, could not fault it - freshly cooked vegetables, and meats and it was really, really good food, what more can I say. In my opinion this is the best Thai in Birkenhead.

Consistently good, inexpensive, Thai takeaway food. I have tried most of the veggie/tofu dishes and they are always very tasty. We have eaten in there a couple of times, which was fine, but mostly we'll pick up a takeaway.
